Oleksandr Masalov

Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Masalov (Ukrainian: Олександр Олександрович Масалов; born 22 January 1997) is a Ukrainian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Desna Chernihiv.[1]

Club career

Oleksandr Masalov is a youth product of Dynamo Kyiv.[2] In 2016 he moved to FC Shakhtar Donetsk junior squads and academy and in the season 2016–17 he got second place in Ukrainian Premier League Reserves.

Kolos Kovalivka

Oleksandr Masalov started his senior career with Kolos Kovalivka.[3][4]

Dinamo-Auto Tiraspol

In 2019 he moved to Dinamo-Auto Tiraspol, where he played 34 matches.[5][6] He got into the quarter-final of the Moldovan Cup in the season 2019–20.[7][8] On 27 August 2020, he played in the first qualifying of UEFA Europa League in the season 2020-21 against Ventspils.[9] In the season 2020–21 he got also into the semi-final of the Moldovan Cup.[10]

Desna Chernihiv

In August 2021 he moved to Desna Chernihiv, the main club of Chernihiv in the Ukrainian Premier League. Masalov signed a contract for one year.[11][12][13][14][15][16] On 14 August 2021 he made his debut with the new team against SC Dnipro-1 in Ukrainian Premier League at the Stadion Yuri Gagarin, replacing Vikentiy Voloshyn at the 74 minute.[17] On 22 August 2021 hs played as a starter against Dynamo Kyiv at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium.[18] On 3 October 2021, he made his debut in Ukrainian Premier League, against Zorya Luhansk, replacing Vadym Zhuk at the 76 minute.[19][20] On 30 October 2021 he plaved against Shakhtar Donetsk in Kyiv at the NSC Olimpiyskiy, replacing Levan Arveladze at the 69 minute.[21][22] On 7 November 2021 he played again from the first minute in the team against Lviv at the Arena Lviv.[23] On 15 November 2021 he played against Olimpik Donetsk in the friendly match at the Bannikov Stadium in Kyiv.[24][25][26] On 21 November 2021 he played against Kovalivka at the Chernihiv Stadium replacing Levan Arveladze at the 79 minute.[27] On 5 February 2022 he played in the friendly derby match against FC Chernihiv at the Yunist Stadium in Chernihiv.[28] On 11 February 2022 he was included in the team for the preparation in Turkey for the second half of the season and he played against Velež Mostar in the friendly match replacing Yevhen Selin at the 45 minute.[29][30] On 17 February he played against Torpedo Kutaisi in a friendly match.[31][32] On 20 February 2022 he played in the friendly match against Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih at the Asteria Football Center in Antalya been replaced by Georgios Ermidis at the 84 minute.[33][34]
