Vanderpump Dogs is an American reality television series that premiered on June 9, 2021, on Peacock.[1] The is a spin-off of two Bravo's reality shows: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules and focuses on Lisa Vanderpump and the staff at her dog rescue center, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation.

Plot

The series follows Lisa Vanderpump as she runs her dog rescue center, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, along with her staff, and those who come to the rescue center to adopt a new pet.

During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the veterinarian at The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, Dr. Andrew Y. Kushnir, travelled to the Poland/Ukrainian border to help save and treat as many animals as possible, with International Fund for Animal Welfare.[2] On April 1, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation started a fundraiser for "Emergency Aid for Animals in Ukraine".[3]

Production

In July 2020, it was announced Peacock had ordered a series revolving around Lisa Vanderpump and her dog foundation, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation.[5][6] Vanderpump, Ken Todd , Douglas Ross, Alex Baskin, Bill Langworthy and Brian McCarthy serve as executive producers, with Evolution Media serving as the studio on the series.[7]
