Patty Acomb
Patty Acomb (born 1965)[1] is a Democratic politician and environmental activist from Minnesota. A natural resource manager, Acomb has been active in environmental advocacy as a member of several national and state government commissions on the environment.

She is currently a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), she represents District 44B in the western Twin Cities metropolitan area.
Early life, education, and career
Acomb was born in Minnetonka, Minnesota and graduated from Hopkins High School. She attended the University of Minnesota, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in natural resources.[2]
Acomb became a member of the Minnetonka Park Board in 2009 and then an at-large member of the Minnetonka City Council in 2012, until being elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2018.[3] While a City Council member, Acomb also served as an appointee to the National League of Cities' Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources steering committee, the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) governing committee, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency's government advisory committee.[4]
Minnesota House of Representatives
Acomb was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2018, and re-elected in 2020. In 2019, she was named chair of the Minnesota House Climate Action Caucus.[5]
Personal life
Acomb and her husband, Craig, have two children. She resides in Minnetonka, Minnesota.[2]
