Jinhua Rail Transit

Jinhua Rail Transit is a metro system currently under construction in the prefecture-level city of Jinhua, in Zhejiang Province, China. It is expected to open in 2022.[1]

History

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on 28 July 2017.[2]

Lines

The initial phase of construction will see two lines built with a total length of 107 kilometres (66 mi) and 30 stations.[2]

Jinhua Rail Transit

Jinyi line

Jinyi line runs from Jinhua to Yiwu. This line starts at Jinhua railway station and heads east via Jinhua South railway station. It terminates at Qintang station. Jinyi line is expected to open in 2022.[3] It is colored red on official system maps.

Yidong line
Main article: Yidong Line (Jinhua Rail Transit)

Yidong line runs from Yiwu to Dongyang. This line starts at Yiwu railway station and heads south. It terminates at Hengdian Coach Center station. It interchanges with the Jinyi line at Qintang station. Yidong line is expected to open in July 2022.[4]

Jinwuyongdong line

Jinwuyongdong line, or Jinhua-Wuyi-Yongkang-Dongyang line, starts at Luodian and heads south. It terminates at Ming and Qing Palace. It interchanges with the Yidong line at Ming and Qing Palace station and with the Jinyi line at South Bayi Street. The line is 111.7 kilometers and has 26 stations (15 underground, 11 elevated).
