Bishan–Toa Payoh Group Representation Constituency
The Bishan–Toa Payoh Group Representation Constituency is a four-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) located in the central region of Singapore. The GRC consists the entire areas of Bishan, Singapore, the majority of Toa Payoh, parts of Thomson, Singapore. The four divisions of the GRC are Bishan East, Toa Payoh West, Toa Payoh East and Toa Payoh Central. The current MPs are Ng Eng Hen, Saktiandi Supaat, Chong Kee Hiong and Chee Hong Tat from the People's Action Party (PAP).

History
Both the Thomson and Toa Payoh GRCs were uncontested since the 1991 General Elections but in 2001, Ibrahim Othman, Leong Horn Kee and Hong Tat Kin retired from political service, they were succeeded by Ng Eng Hen, Hri Kumar Nair & Zainudin Nordin succeeded him. In 2006, Davinder Singh retired from political service, he was succeeded by Josephine Teo. The Bishan–Toa Payoh GRC enjoying the same situation from 1997 until 2011 with Wong Kan Seng leading the team until 2011 with the first contest is with Singapore People's Party led by former opposition leader Chiam See Tong whom left his stronghold in Potong Pasir SMC and with the results of 56.93% to 43.07% . Its boundaries also remained intact throughout its existence until 2015 when it was expanded in size to include Balestier, MacRitchie Reservoir and Novena. The westernmost portion of Bishan–Toa Payoh GRC consists of part of the Central Catchment Nature Reserve which is shared with Holland–Bukit Timah GRC and Kebun Baru SMC.
On 11 September 2015, when Wong Kan Seng retired from political service after 31 years, Hri Kumar Nair quit running for political office just before the 2015, citing his wife's diagnosis of lymphoma in 2012 as a factor and Zainudin Nordin quit running for political office citing wanting to spend more time with his family. They were succeeded by Chong Kee Hiong, Chee Hong Tat and Saktiandi Supaat. In 2015 Singaporean general election, the second contest with the Singapore People's Party led by Benjamin Pwee with results of 73.59% to 26.41%. In 2020, due to new electoral boundary, Bishan North, Sin Ming and Shunfu estate from Bishan East-Thomson division were also carved into the new constituency Marymount SMC and it reduce the size of the Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC from five to four seats. The third contest is with Singapore People's Party led by former opposition leader Steve Chia with the results of 67.26% to 32.74%. Balestier and Novena was subsumed into the neighbouring Jalan Besar GRC and in return, Blocks 210 to 224 from the former opposition constituency of Potong Pasir were absorbed into Toa Payoh East.
