Wrigley Park
Wrigley Park, also called Fourth Ward, is a neighborhood around a namesake park located north of Broadway in Paterson, New Jersey.[1] It was named for a Paterson paper manufacturing family.[2][3]
The neighborhood has experienced years of poverty, crime, and neglect.[4] However, there are new houses being built and crime has dropped in recent years. The city has planned to address the empties lot in this section of the city through fines and eventually taking them over to sell to developers.[5] Habitat for Humanity has built numerous homes in the district.[6]
The proposed Passaic–Bergen–Hudson Transit Project light rail would potentially include a station at Lafayette Street.[7]
