Upton, Texas
Upton is an unincorporated community in Bastrop County, Texas, United States, that began as was a station on the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railroad. Populations of Upton have always began small over the decades, and had 24 people as of the 2000 census.[1]

Upton is served by the Smithville Independent School District.
