Umesh Shrestha
Umesh Shrestha is a Nepali politician and businessman, currently serving as State Minister for Health and Population since 25 July 2021.[1] He is also a member of the House of Representatives. In the 2017 Nepalese general election he was elected as a proportional representative from Indigenous peoples category from the Nepali Congress.[2]

Controversies
Shrestha was allegedly involved in conflict of interest when he became a committee member to probe the wrongdoings of the medical colleges although he himself had investment in multiple schools and colleges. [3]
