Transformation Ministries

Transformation Ministries is a covenanting Association of over 200 churches. It was formed in 2006 when the American Baptist Churches of the Pacific Southwest separated from the American Baptist Churches USA over the issue of Biblical authority. ABC-USA was equivocal regarding homosexuality. TM Churches argues that "the practice of homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching."[1] It is based in Covina, California.

"Transformation Ministries (the Ministry) is an association of more than 165 ethnically- and culturally-diverse Covenanting Churches in Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona, Southern Utah, Idaho and Hawaii adhering to baptistic convictions. The Ministry envisions a God-empowered movement of churches: every pastor growing, every church healthy, every community transformed for Christ. Transformation Ministries exists to build a movement of mission-empowering relationships by: deepening and developing pastors as spiritual leaders, coaching and networking churches toward greater health and missional vitality, and supporting and initiating viable church planting partnerships. The Ministry also supports Covenanting Churches through pastor searches, recognizing and commending ordination, and camping."https://www.ecfa.org/MemberProfile.aspx?ID=9346
