Tickle-U

Tickle-U was a defunct weekday-morning preschool programming block from Cartoon Network (and briefly on sister-channel Boomerang). It featured domestic and foreign-imported series targeted at preschool-age children like its competitors Nick Jr. (on Nickelodeon) and Playhouse Disney (now Disney Junior on Disney Channel) existed due to Cartoon Network's primary audience preteens and teenagers attending school during the block's airtime. The hosts were two animated CGI characters: a red caterpillar named Pipoca (voiced by Ariel Winter) and a green rabbit-like creature named Henderson (voiced by Tom Kenny).

Not to be confused with Channel U (Singapore), a Chinese-language television channel owned by Mediacorp.

It was the last attempt at a preschool programming block until Cartoonito in 2021 on both Cartoon Network and HBO Max. Tickle-U premiered on August 22, 2005, and aired from 9am to 11am.[1][2] lasting until January 6, 2006, after which, the block and its hosts were soon removed, though the shows continued to air on Cartoon Network. The promos for the shows featured on the block had Tickle-U branding and the mascots of the block were all replaced by shots of the main view of the City of Townsville from The Powerpuff Girls.[3][4]
