Location in the United States

Located in New England in central Vermont, Killington has hosted nine women's World Cup events (49th of all-time), and the sixth most in the U.S.

Superstar is a north-facing black diamond run with three sections: headwall (super demanding), middle and lower. Mogul fields line the sides, with grooming constantly changing.[2]

World Cup

Unlike the lightly attended World Cup events in the North American West, Killington is a very popular stop, with over 20,000 gathering over the weekend.

As a race course, Superstar is comparable to most European classic venues. Starting in 2016, American Mikaela Shiffrin won the first five World Cup slaloms at Killington; from Colorado, she attended high school at Burke Mountain Academy in northeastern Vermont.
