Scrosoppi FC

Scrosoppi FC is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in Milton, Ontario that plays in League1 Ontario. The club is named after St. Luigi Scrosoppi, who is the patron saint of footballers.[1][2] The club was founded in 2020 as a joint partnership between two youth clubs - Milton Youth SC and Brampton SC - and is set to begin its inaugural season in 2021.

Milton YSC

Milton Youth Soccer Club is a youth soccer club from Milton, Ontario that was founded in 1988. It's competitive teams are known as the Milton Magic.[4]

Brampton SC

Brampton Soccer Club is a youth soccer club in Brampton, Ontario that was founded in 2019 through the amalgamation of Brampton East SC and Brampton Youth SC.[5]

History

The club was founded in 2020 in partnership with Milton Youth Soccer Club and Brampton Soccer Club.[2] The name was chosen in honour of St. Luigi Scrosoppi, who is the patron saint of footballers.[6]

The club joined League1 Ontario for the 2021 season.[7] Their home field in their inaugural season is Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School in Milton, with plans to play at least one game at Victoria Park Stadium in Brampton.[8]
