Rayya is a city and municipality in Amritsar district in the Indian state of Punjab. Rayya is about 35 km from Amritsar and 45 km from Jalandhar. It is 5 km from the Beas River.

Many Notable Freedom Fighters and Politicians belongs to this constituency some of them are Shaheed Darshan Singh Pheruman, Jathedar Joginder Singh Nahra, Jathedar Sohan Singh Jallausman, Jathedar Jeewan Singh Umra nangal, Sant Singh Lidder. These politicians played a significant role in the politics and development of Punjab.
