Rana Hamdy

Rana Amr Adly Abdelaziz Hamdy (Arabic: رنا عمرو عدلي عبد العزيز حمدي; born 11 September 1989), also known as Rana Abdel Aziz,[5] is a Canadian-raised Egyptian footballer who plays as a centre back. She has been a member of the Egypt women's national team.

Early life

Hamdy was raised in North York, Ontario.[6] She is Muslim.[7][4]

High school and college career

Hamdy has attended the York University and the George Brown College, both in Toronto.[6][8][9]

Club career

Hamdy has played for Oakville Blue Devils FC in Canada in League1 Ontario.[10][11]

International career

Hamdy capped for Egypt at senior level during the 2016 Africa Women Cup of Nations.[2]
