Progressive Union (Benin)
The Progressive Union (French: Union Progressiste) is a political party in Benin, led by Bruno Amoussou. It tends to be more popular in the south of the country.[2]

In the 2019 Beninese parliamentary election, the party came first, winning 47 of 83 seats in the National Assembly.[3] Both the Progressive Union and the only other party in the National Assembly, Republican Bloc, are allied with President Patrice Talon.[3][4]
The current Vice President of Benin, Mariam Chabi Talata, is a member.
