Philippine Swimming

Philippine Swimming Incorporated (PSI) is the national governing body of aquatic sports in the Philippines. PSI currently oversees swimming, diving, and water polo. It is accredited by the International Swimming Federation (Fédération Internationale de Natation or FINA) and the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC).

Under new leadership, the federation continued their programs on their promotion and propagandizing the sport including the sending of the national teams in international swimming competitions such as Southeast Asian Games and the Southeast Asian Age Group Swimming Championships as well as organizing local meets like the Speedo G League Long and Short Course series.[2]

Last 2019, it hosted the 30th edition of Southeast Asian Games in Capas, Tarlac.

Southeast Asian Games

The Philippines has hosted the SEA Games four times since being included in 1977 (1981, 1991, 2005, and 2019).

Pilipinas International Beach Sports Festival

The Pilipinas International Beach Sports Festival is a multi-sport event which includes beach water polo, open-water swimming, and beach running. The first festival was held from February 26-28, 2016. The second festival took place from May 28-30, 2017. The third attempt of the annual festival was postponed due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

Pilipinas Beach Water Polo Tournament

This international tournament takes place in conjunction with the Pilipinas International Beach Sports Festival.

PSI oversees competitive swimming in the Philippines as well as a Fil-Foreign team consisting of Filipino swimmers living and training abroad.

Water polo

Philippine Water Polo (PHIWP) operates directly under PSI. The men's and women's water polo national teams regularly participate at Asian Games and Southeast Asian Games.
