Paul Codrea
Paul Constantin Codrea (Romanian pronunciation: [ˈpa.ul ˈkodre̯a]; born 4 April 1981 in Timișoara) is a Romanian football manager and former player, who currently manages CSC Ghiroda in Liga III. A former midfielder, he was part of the Romanian squad at UEFA Euro 2008.

Playing career
Club
Codrea started playing football in his hometown at the club LPS Banatul Timișoara. He made his senior debut for Dinamo București. In the 1996–97 season, he was in the first team of the Romanian giants. However, he appeared only in two games at Dinamo before the club decided to sell him for the rest of the season at Politehnica Timişoara in Liga II. Two seasons later, he transferred back to the Liga 1 this time to Argeș Pitești. There, Codrea signed a two-year contract. In the summer of 2001, he moved abroad, signing with Serie B club Genoa. He later joined Palermo, where he won the Serie B title and Serie A promotion in 2004. After definitively leaving Palermo (which also loaned him twice during his spell), Codrea signed with Siena in 2006, where he spent most of his playing career. In July 2012, he returned to Romania and joined Rapid București and in the winter of 2013, he returned home at Politehnica Timişoara being player-manager.
International career
In 2000, Codrea celebrated his debut in the shirt of Romanian national team
He represented his country at the Euro 2008 in Switzerland. He featured in all three group matches. On 25 March 2008, before the tournament, Cordea was honored for his achievements in the European Championship qualifiers, by then Romanian President Traian Băsescu with the "Meritul Sportiv", an award for athletes.

Coaching career
He signed with fifth league team ASU Politehnica Timişoara in 2013, replacing Antonio Foale who became General Manager. He debuted with a 3–0 victory over Gran-Plaz Liebling on 18 March 2013. He resigned on 29 November 2014.
