PLS manages more than 1 million loads each year through all major freight modes: truckload, LTL, rail, barge, air, ocean, and intermodal. Through their innovative TMS and network of over 50,000 carriers they make efficiency and transparency a top priority for their customers.
Charity Initiatives
PLS Logistics takes an active part in charity initiatives and supporting the local community. The company's initiatives include donating to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. holds an annual "Police Appreciation Week,".
PLS Logistics is also partnering with the Kids in Need Foundation by giving an in-kind donation of its technology and supplying a classroom in the Pittsburgh area through its new "Supply A Classroom" program. The company has also made donations to the American Red Cross after Hurricane Harvey in 2017.

Proprietary TMS
PLS Logistics Services has its proprietary transportation management system, PLS PRO. The PLS PRO System is a web-based transportation automation tool created and operated by PLS Logistics Services. It lets carriers, brokers, and customers gain visibility into the transportation process and manage operations.
