Nathan Santos

Nathan Santos de Araújo (born 5 September 2001), sometimes known as just Nathan, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Boavista.

In this Portuguese name, the first or maternal family name is Santos and the second or paternal family name is de Araújo.

Playing career

A youth product of Portuguesa da Ilha, Nathan moved to the youth academy of Vasco da Gama. The transfer was controversial, as Vasco da Gama denied Portuguesa's claim over a sell-on clause.[1] On 13 September 2020, Nathan joined the signed on loan with Boavista for the 2020-21 Primeira Liga season with an option to buy.[2] He made his professional debut with Boavista in a 5–0 Primeira Liga loss to FC Porto on 26 September 2020, coming on as a late sub in the 85th minute.[3][4]
