Academics
Mitchell College reports having 23 full-time faculty, 73 part-time faculty, and 57% of classes having between 10 and 19 students.[6] The college offers degrees in business, communication, education, environmental studies, human development and family studies, liberal arts, psychology, criminal justice, and sports and fitness.[4]
Athletics
Mitchell athletic teams are the Mariners. The college is a member of the Division III level of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), primarily competing in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) since the 2008–09 academic year.
Mitchell competes in 14 intercollegiate varsity sports: Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, eSports, golf, lacrosse and soccer; while women's sports include basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer and volleyball. Club sports include co-ed cheer & dance, co-ed kayak, co-ed paddleboard and men's rugby.
