Minhas
The Manhas or Minhas is Clan among Jatts and the Suryavanshi Rajputs, They are found in Punjab, Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir.[1][2] These are spread in most of the part of Gagwan and Jhatgali of district Ramban.(Suryavanshi Rajputs). Some Suryavanshi Kshatriyas write their surname as “Minhas”. It is found in Hindu and Sikh communities. Although, some muslims also use their surname as Manhas but as Manhas are kshatriyas (varna from Hindus ), so Muslims are not considered Rajputs. [2]
