Melanie Serrano

Melanie Serrano Pérez[3] (born 12 October 1989) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a left back for Barcelona Femení in the Spanish Primera División.

Serrano has spent her entire professional career with FC Barcelona Femení, and as of the end of the 2020–21 season she is the club leader in appearances with 519.

Serrano has spent her entire professional career with FC Barcelona Femení.[4]

She became a first-team player in 2007, making her debut against Athletic Bilbao.[5]

International career

Her full international debut at the senior level was on 29 October 2009 against Austria[6] (at 20 years and 17 days). Melanie was part of Spain's squad at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada.[1]

Personal life

Serrano is in a relationship with Lara Salmerón. In September 2021, the couple announced that they are expecting a twin.[7]
