Mackiewicz is a Polish surname derived from the name Maciek, a diminutive of Maciej (Matthias). There are two archaic feminine forms: Mackiewiczowa (for married, literally "Mackiewicz's") and Mackiewiczówna (for unmarried, literally "daughter of Mackiewicz").[1]
