Line 1 (Nantong Metro)

Line 1 of the Nantong Metro (Chinese: 南通地铁1号线; pinyin: Nántōng dìtiě yī hào xiàn) is a rapid transit line under construction in Nantong, Jiangsu, China. It will run from Pingchao station (平潮站) to Zhenxinglu station (振兴路站). The total length of the line is 39.2 kilometres (24.4 mi). There will be 28 underground stations. The line will serve Nantong West railway station.

History

Construction began on December 18, 2017.[1] The line is planned to open in late 2022.[2]
