Kagomori Castle
Kagomori Castle (河後森城, Kagomori-jō) was a Sengoku period Japanese castle in Ehime Prefecture, Japan. The site was designated a National Historic Site.[1]

History
Kagomori Castle was built by Watanabe clan.[2][3] It is said that Tōdō Takatora relocated Tenshu tower from the castle to his Imabari Castle.[1]
The castle was listed as one of the Continued Top 100 Japanese Castles in 2017.[4] The castle is now only ruins, with some stone walls, moats and earthworks but a gate has been reconstructed.[2]
