Akali Prahlad Singh

Jathedar Prahlad Singh was a Nihang Singh and 8th Jathedar of Shiromani Panth Budha Dal.[1] He became Jathedar of Budha Dal in 1846 and also became Jathedar of Akal Takhat. In 1865 during the Akal takht elections the British supported Arur Singh Naushera and so fights and riots broke and so the British and Patiala forces came in and so Jathedar Prahlad Singh led a small revolt to support his claim
