Hoplophorus
Hoplophorus was an extinct genus of glyptodont, a subfamily of armadillos . The only known species was H. euphractus, found in Pleistocene deposits in Piauí,[1] and Minas Gerais, in Brazil.[2] It is currently regarded as a nomen dubium due to being a possible synonym of Glyptodon euphractus.[1]
