Futari Solo Camp

Futari Solo Camp (Japanese: ふたりソロキャンプ, Hepburn: Futari Soro Kyanpu, "Solo Camping With Just the Two of Us") is a Japanese camping-themed manga series written and illustrated by Yudai Debata. It has been serialized in Kodansha's Evening since October 2018, with its chapters collected in eleven tankōbon volumes as of November 2021.

Gen Kinokura (樹乃倉 巌, Kinokura Gen)
An expert 34-year-old out-and-out solo camper who enjoys the quiet solitude away from the city and being able to appreciate nature.
Shizuku Kusano (草野 雫, Kusano Shizuku)
A 20-year-old junior college student with little experience about camping alone. She decided to make Gen her mentor to develop her skills on camping alone, by contradictorily, camping together until she is able to manage on her own.

Publication

Futari Solo Camp is written and illustrated by Yudai Debata. It debuted in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Evening, under the title Hitori, Yaei Nite Omofu (独り、野営にて思ふ).[1][2] Kodansha has collected its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes. The first volume was released on March 22, 2019.[3] As of November 22, 2021, eleven volumes have been released.[4]

Reception

As of the December 2020, the manga had over 1 million copies in circulation (including digital versions).[15] Futari Solo Camp was nominated for the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the general category in 2021.[16]
