Funakaye
Funakaye is a Local Government Area of Gombe State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Bajoga. Its current chairman is Alhaji Ibrahim Cheldu(aka Ibrahim Jimmy) of All Progressives Congress (APC). The only Emirates Council in the local government is headed by Mu'azu Muhammad Kwairanga(HRH). Funakaye is bounded in the east by the Gongola River and Lake Dadin Kowa, beyond which lie Yobe State and Borno State.
