Ervin Omić (born 20 January 2003) is a professional footballer who plays as defender for Serie C Group A club Juventus U23.

Career

Youth career

Omić started his career with AKA SV Ried until January 2017, when he moved to Red Bull Salzburg aged 13.[1]

In 2019, he moved to Juventus starting playing for the under-16s.[1] The following season he moved to the under-17s where, after having been sidelined for an injury, Omić was given the captain's armbrand upon his return.[1] He ended the 2019–20 season scoring six goals in nine appearances.[1] Omić was promoted to the under-19s side the following season making 25 appearances and scoring no goals.[1]

Juventus U23

Omić made his debut with Juventus U23 — the reserve team of Juventus — on 16 March 2022, in a 2–1 defeat against Lecco coming on as a substitute in the 87th minute.[2]

Style of play

Omić can play as centre-back, play-maker and as trequartista.[1] Omić can also kick penalties and free-kicks.[1]
