Elucid

ELUCID is an American rapper and record producer from New York City. He has been a member of Armand Hammer,[1] Cult Favorite,[2] Lessondary,[3] Small Bills,[4] and Nostrum Grocers.[5]

Early life

Elucid was born in Jamaica, Queens.[6] His mother was a singer and his father was a bassist.[6] [7]

Career

ELUCID released his debut solo studio album, Save Yourself, in 2016.[8] In 2017, he released a mixtape, Valley of Grace.[9] In 2018, he released a collaborative studio album with Milo, titled Nostrum Grocers, under the group moniker Nostrum Grocers.[10] In that year, he also released a mixtape, Shit Don't Rhyme No More.[11] In 2019, he released a mixtape, Every Egg I Cracked Today Was Double Yolked.[12] He released "Seership!" in 2020.[13] In his 2020 Freemusicempire MVP write up Dan-O summed up Elucid's year "We had a shared sense that the artistic 'high bar' of 2020...the one that pushed so many artists to new heights, was hefted there by Elucid."[14]
