Democratic Left Front (Sri Lanka)
Democratic Left Front (Sri Lanka) (Prajathanthravadi Vamanshika Peramuna) is a political party in Sri Lanka, which is also a constituent party of the ruling United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA). Democratic Left Front (DLF) is also a member of the Socialist Alliance, the alliance of five leftist political parties in Sri Lanka. DLF Secretary Comrade Vasudeva Nanayakkara is a Member of Parliament – the National legislature – representing Ratnapura district and also the Minister of National Languages and Social Integration in the Cabinet of UPFA government.
