Chyše
Chyše (German: Chiesch) is a town in Karlovy Vary District in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants.

History
According to the census of 1921, the town had the population of 1,126. 1,046 were Germans, 72 Czechoslovaks and 8 foreigners. Vast majority of the inhabitants were Roman Catholics, complemented by 20 Jews, six Protestants and three people without religion.[2]
From 1938 to 1945 it was one of the municipalities in Sudetenland. After World War II, the town was returned to Czechoslovakia and the local German population expelled.
