Chhab
Chhab (Urdu : چھب) is a village situated in Jand Tehsil of Attock District in Punjab Province of Pakistan.[1]

It is located near Makhad Sharif along the bank of River Sindh. Chhab is the headquarters of "Chhab Union Council" and governed the neighboring villages.punjabi Khatris have Chhabra surname from this region.after 1947 Chhabra settled like other NWFP refugees in and around Delhi.
Many People came and settled in different parts of India, But mostly chhabra surname is found in North region of country and in Punjab starte , One such person whose grandparents came from Pakistan and settled in Ludhiana , His name is Kanwar Sumit Singh Chhabra his grand father S. Mehar Singh came to India after partition and now they are settled in Ludhiana.
