Bulutan

Bulutan or Pletants (Armenian: Պլեթանց) is a village in the Khojavend District of Azerbaijan, in the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh. The village had an ethnic Armenian-majority population in 1989.[2]

History

During the Soviet period, the village was a part of the Hadrut District of the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Oblast.

The village was captured by Armenian forces on 2 October 1992 during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War and was administrated as part of the Hadrut Province of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh. The village was recaptured by Azerbaijan on 14 October 2020 during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war.
