Bill Scherr
William Harold Scherr (born July 27, 1961) is an American former wrestler who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics, for the United States.

Born in Eureka, South Dakota, Scherr also competed in the World Championships for wrestling (85', 86, 87', and 89'), earning a gold medal in 1985 FILA Wrestling World Championships in Budapest for freestyle. He wrestled at the University of Nebraska and won the 190 pound NCAA championship in 1984.[1]
