Balasubramaniem
K.T. Balasubramaniem (born 18 August 1966) is an Indian cinematographer.[1][2] Under the tutelage of P.C. Sreeram for nearly 5 years, he worked in award-winning films such as Thevar Magan, Thiruda Thiruda and Kuruthipunal.[3]

Early life and education
Balasubramaniem was born in Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, His house is next to New Cinema Theatre and he did his early schooling. He is very fond with Veteran Cinematographer PC.Sree Ram after seeing Nayakan Movie … he planned to move Chennai and worked with 7th Channel Studios with Ms.Mala Manian & Mr.Manickam Narayanan.
One fine day … He has gone with his friend … Ms.Vaishali … Indian Express Reporter to take an interview with PC.Sree Ram Sir . He met him in first Time and try to join under him as of his continuing efforts with aiming Pursuit.
Later … He portrayed a oil Painting of PC. Sree Ram Sir and PC.Sree Ram has impressed on his painting Work and ask him to join under him for the films … Meera & Amaran.
His first full film under PC . Sree Ram Sir is Devar Magan.
He is married to television host Sun TV fame … E. Mala. He has two sons Kavin and Karun.
Career
His debut film was Iraniyan, a historical film set in the Pre-Independence era. Later, he worked in director Bala's film Pithamagan and 180.
Balasubramaniem started his career by assisting noted cinematographer P.C. Sreeram for nearly 5 years, in award-winning films like Thevar Magan (1992), Thiruda Thiruda (1993) and Kuruthipunal (1995).
