Avalon is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Santa Rosa County, Florida, United States. Its population was 679 as of the 2010 census.[1] Interstate 10 passes through the community.

Geography
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the community has an area of 4.146 square miles (10.74 km2); 3.847 square miles (9.96 km2) of its area is land, and 0.299 square miles (0.77 km2) is water. It is known to have a rainy climate starting in the months of May and June and ending in October. The average temp is around 70°f or 21°c. The land contains small hills and small ponds.[1]
