Andrea Harrison
Andrea Carleen Harrison is an American politician who currently serves in the Maryland House of Delegates. Delegate Harrison represents the 24th Legislative District of Prince George's County, Maryland which includes Fairmount Heights, Glenarden, Seat Pleasant, Capitol Heights, portions of Glendale, Lanham, Marlow Heights and Suitland.[1]

Early life
Andrea C. Fletcher was born in Washington, D.C. to James C. Fletcher.[1][2] She received an Associate in Arts in micro computer systems from Prince George's Community College in 1992. She then received a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy from Bowie State University in 2002.[1]
Personal life
She is married with three children.[1]
Career
Harrison represented District 5 in the Prince George's County Council from May 19, 2008 to December 3, 2019.[1] The 2008 election was held as a special election after David C. Harrington ran for governor and Harrison was elected as the first woman to serve in District 5.[2] The same Council seat was held by her father, James C. Fletcher.[2] Harrison was elected to the Maryland House of Delegates on January 9, 2019.[1]
