Akmal Zahir

Mohd Akmal bin Md Zahir (born 16 February 1994) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Malaysia Super League club Melaka United.[2]

In this Malay name, there is no family name. The name Md Zahir is a patronymic, and the person should be referred to by the given name, Mohd Akmal. The Arabic-derived word "bin" or "binti"/"binte", if used, means 'son of' or 'daughter of', respectively.
