2018–19 Liga IV Bucharest

The 2018–19 Liga IV Bucharest was the 51st season of the Liga IV Bucharest, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 24 August 2018[1][2] and was ended on 2 June 2019. Carmen București win the title and qualify to promotion play-off in Liga III.[3]

Competition format

The 16 teams will play a regular season, followed by a championship play-off. The regular season is a double round-robin tournament and at the end of the regular season, the top four ranked teams qualify for the championship play-off.[4]

  1. LPS Mircea Eliade București withdrew from the championship after 15 rounds and lost all remaining matches with 0-3.
  2. Vis de București withdrew from the championship after 19 rounds and lost all remaining matches with 0-3.

Championship play-off

Championship play-off played in a single round-robin tournament between the best four teams of the regular season. The teams started the play-off with the following points: 1st place – 3 points, 2nd place – 2 points, 3rd place – 1 point, 4th place – 0 points.
