Elwyn Jones (solicitor)
Sir William Elwyn Edwards Jones (5 January 1904[1][2] – 4 July 1989)[3] was a Welsh solicitor and Labour politician elected as Labour MP for Conway in 1950.[3] He served as town clerk of Bangor from 1939 to 1969. He was knighted in 1978.[4]
He was born in Caernarfon[5] and died in Anglesey.[6]
