Strategy
Investing heavily in data science, software technologies, and machine learning, Warwick targets cash flowing assets across the real estate, digital assets, and energy industries.[2] The company has developed a team data scientists and software developers from Silicon Valley to process big data through machine learning, deep correlation analysis and predictive models.[13]
Energy
Warwick's team specializes in acquiring and consolidating subsurface and surface core real estate. Warwick Partners III and Warwick Partners IV seek to generate capital appreciation by investing primarily in oil and gas assets as well as in equity and equity-related securities of companies that own or operate oil and gas assets.
Active investments of note include ownership (I) of the largest private company in the core of the STACK and SCOOP oil and gas fields in Oklahoma, and (II) an interest in the Eagle Ford Shale oil field (including midstream infrastructure) in Karnes and Live Oak Counties, Texas. Previous divestitures include assets located in the Midland Basin in Texas, the Powder River Basin in Wyoming, the Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas, the Delaware Basin in Texas and the Bakken Shale in North Dakota. Active Warwick Energy Group funds are focused on investment in low-cost oil basins in Texas, New Mexico & Oklahoma.[2]
In September 2021, the firm acquired operated oil and gas assets from Rosewood Resources, an entity whole owned by the Caroline Rose Hunt Trust Estate, for $450 million. The acquired assets are adjacent to Warwick-Athena (a company managed by Warwick) operations and include ownership in approximately 14,000 acres, operated wells, and midstream infrastructure. [14]
Real Estate
Warwick's real estate platform is focused on executing consolidation strategies in the cores of globalized cities with the highest potentials for long-term capital appreciation across multiple real estate asset classes.
The residential platform is headed by Andrew Chysostomou who formerly led Christian Candy's CPC Group.[15] Warwick has acquired in prime central London including several buildings on the famed Ebury Street and the former vicarage for St. Mark's Church.
