Vilayil Fazeela


Vilayil Fazila is a Mappila songs singer from Kerala.[1] Previously she was known as Vilayil Valsala prior to her conversion to Islam.[2] Fazeela Started singing at the age of ten with know Mapplappattu singer and composer V. M Kutty വി.എം. കുട്ടി in his team in 1970.[3] She travelled with V M kutty all gcc countries for live performance. Valsala made her singing debut in 1972 by singing at the Karshaka Samara Sammelan in Tirur. When Valsala sang as a child, A. K. Gopalan took Valsala to the stage. Azhikodan Raghavan E. K. Imbichi Bava and others were also present on the occasion. With this incident, valsala became an active mappilappattu singer in the name of Vilayil Fazila.
