Varghese Kurian
Varghese Kurian or Al Namal Varghese is a business man in the Persian Gulf region, one of awardees, in 2014, of the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman (Overseas Indian Honour/Award) on the merit of "Business for enhancing India’s image and for Promotion better understanding of India abroad" by Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Government of India in conjunction with the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas NRI Day), to honor exceptional and meritorious contribution in their chosen field/profession. The award is given by the President of India. He is the founder and Chairman of the VKL Holdings and Al Namal Group of Companies.He is also the current chairman of The New Horizon School Bahrain
