Turkman Valley
Torkman Valley or (Dare-ye Torkman, Dari: دره ترکمن; Hazaragi: دره تورکمو) is a valley in Afghanistan located in Surkhi Parsa District, Parwan Province in Hazarajat region, which is inhabited with Hazara people. They speak the Hazaragi dialect of Persian language.[2][3][1]

Etymology
The name of this valley is derived from the ethnonym Turkoman,[1] or the Turkmani, one of the tribes of the Hazara people.[4][1]
History
The Turkman Valley located in Parwan Province was founded by four brothers Mansoor, Shehr, Allahdad and Khedir.
