Tu Tevha Tashi

Tu Tevha Tashi (transl.You, Then, Like that) is an Indian Marathi language drama television series directed by Mandar Devasthali and distributed by Zee Entertainment Enterprises. It was broadcast on the Zee Marathi television channel from Monday to Saturday at 8 pm by replacing Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla and is now digitally available on the ZEE5 online app. It stars Swapnil Joshi, and Shilpa Tulaskar in lead roles with Abhidnya Bhave, Suhas Joshi in supporting roles.[1]

Summary

It is a love story between the two people in their 40s who have experienced many ups and downs in their lives. Anamika Dixit and Saurabh Patwardhan were college classmates. Anamika was Saurabh's ladylove, yet never proposed her. Their lives changed when they graduated from college. They reconnect after a long separation and begin a new chapter of lives.[2]

Plot

Anamika (Shilpa Tulaskar) is a self-employed business woman and Saurabh (Swapnil Joshi) is a job seeker. Anamika lives with her mother-in-law (Suhas Joshi) and Radha (Roomani Khare) her daughter & she kicked her husband out whereas Saurabh lives with Sachin (Abhishek Rahalkar) his brother, Pushpavalli (Abhidnya Bhave) his sister-in-law, & Kunda Maushi (Ujjwala Jog). Anamika's daughter is proud of money and on the other hand Saurabh's daughter-in-law Pushpavalli and her father are robbing Saurabh. Saurabh's brother Sachin is unemployed.

Anamika and Saurabh met after so many years due to Chandu Chimane (Kiran Bhalerao). Saurabh loves Anamika but Saurabh would have promise to his dead parents that he would not get married unless Sachin stood on his own two feet. But Pushpavalli doesn't want to marry him because he thinks that if his wife comes, his wife will be the owner of the house. Kunda Maushi has a mouthful but she loves Saurabh as her own child so she wants Saurabh to marry Anamika.

Production

Development

Mandar Devasthali, who directs the series for Zee Marathi stating, "We always try to do something new. Many ongoing love stories may have been told, but the story of the remaining love may have come, but we tell it in a new way. That's what makes this series so different. I am sure that the audience will also like the story of this series."[5]

Casting

Swapnil Joshi was selected for the role of Saurabh Patwardhan. Shilpa Tulaskar selected for the role of Anamika Dixit.[6] Roomani Khare daughter of Sandeep Khare debut with this series.[7] Abhidnya Bhave comeback with the role of Pushpavalli. Kiran Bhalerao got role of Chandu Chimane.[8]

Filming

The series filmed mainly in Pune. Their particular spot on JM Road, Bal Gandharva Ranga Mandir, Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje Udyan.[9]
