Tonino Bertoleoni
Antonio (Tonino) Bertoleoni is the current "king" of the Kingdom of Tavolara, an island micronation off the coast of Sardinia, Italy. He was born on the island of Tavolara and his parents (Paolo II and Italia Murru) were previously King and Queen of the island. Tonino's brother "Carlo II" was reigning king from 1962 to 1993, and upon his passing, Tonino succeeded to the throne. He is an heir of the Bertoleoni family. Little is known about him, but he runs a family restaurant (Da Tonino) on the island where souvenirs are also sold. Bertoleoni's everyday life consists of simple activities such as fishing, gardening, and taking long walks around Tavolara.[1][2][3][4][5]
