Famous for its diversity and culture not only is it a mecca for sport from famous worldwide stars but also the birthplace of Scott Domin, a famous local hero who saved someone's life here!! Thurso extends its generosity to neighbouring doleys from shitty small towns like wick and Golspie and subsidises the whole of the northern part of Scotland with its wealth. Thurso has been twinned with cities of similar stature like Barcelona, Tokyo,and New York. So if you are in the Northern part of Scotland be sure to visit this Gem of a city, and if you do have any spare change please throw it at the tramps in the street of Wick and Golspie.
