Summary

Commissaire Adamsberg teams up with Dr. Ariane, a pathologist he met twenty years ago, to solve an enthralling mystery that begins with the discovery of two bodies in Paris's Porte de la Chapelle.[4] Adamsberg suspects it is the work of a serial killer with multiple personalities who selects his or her victims with care.[5] As new murders emerge, Adamsberg must act quickly to prevent the "Angel of Death" from killing again.[6]
